So if he fought and they killed him or hurt him then who would take care of his Son who had just lost his Mother?
So I like that he didn't fight.
Hook is no noble man please, he's handsome yes. But Jeffery is is both handsome and noble as far as we can tell.
It wasn't really a choice. He didn't want to fight Hook. He couldn't fight Hook. There was no way he could even wield that sword when he can't even walk properly. Furthermore he was a weak coward. You could really see in his eyes, the moment he realized he just lost his wife. He had no other choice than to go home without her.

Yet Charming fought a dragon despite seeing soldiers turned to cinder before his eyes. Even Emma went and fought a dragon (which she was convinced did not exist). Rumpel couldn't even fight another human. But I guess he's a realist...(I still like him though).

Yeah...Belle is a liability...but I think that she might be able to convince the good guys to help Rumpel (maybe).

Now that we know that Milah didn't get kidnapped and ran away with Hook willingly. I don't think that Hook would've killed Rumpel even if Rumpel had lost (could be wishful thinking on my behalf).

And though I admit his good looks doesn't hurt him, that's hardly the only reason I like him. He seems brave. Granted I don't think he could've ran away from the Dark One. And he was nice enough to Smee.

EDIT: Why is Jefferson noble?

Rumple was a coward then and as he stated himself he is still a coward now even tho he is the Dark One.

plus i don't think Regina will ever work with Cora the Horra unless she had no other way to do something or save someone. Hengry for example. when i said it would be gr8 for Rumple and Regina to face off Cora the Horra and Hook i meant that they would be on opposite sides i'm guess they might team up Regina, Rumple and the Charming family to fight against Hook and Corra the Horra for control of SB and revenge.

and yes when we saw that Milah left before she fell in love with Hook it does make Hook seem less of a monster. and maybe he might not have killed him then but he sure is ready to do that now. the war of the worlds SB vs FTL is coming its gonna be epic!

Hi can I just throw in if it hasn't been said that I love this development of Belle. I love how she still cared about Rumpelstiltskin and her father but did not let them change her mind. It reminded me of the first time we saw her in Fairy Tale Land. I also loved how she didn't want to stay dependent on Rumpel even though he was the only person outside Regina that she knew in town.

what also nice is that she made friends with Ruby which i think is pretty cool, Ruby was totally awesome, and protective of Belle as well when she saw Rumple was looking for Belle.

Belle is some what becoming a independent, coz she was first with her father and then with Rumple and then taken by Regina. so she's never been on her own and now she can.

thats cool.

I loved this episode! I especially liked the writers' twist in making Rumplestiltskin the crocodile that took Hook's hand. That's what I love about this show, full of little surprises you wouldn't expect!

I think casting Colin O'Donoghue as Hook was brilliant casting. I really hope the writers will give him some really great villainous scenes!

Didn't like this episode. No Lana at all. No Emma and Mary Margaret either. I think they have thrown Emma and Mary into that new world and the writers don't have a clue as to how to get them out, and I don't think they know what to do with Regina, either.
