Blind Witch
Who is she supposed to be? There's the Blind Witch from episode 2 who has her eyes sewn shut and is supposed to be a hag-like witch, then there's the Blind Witch from episode 9 who is younger and has misty eyes. Are they supposed to be the same character? Because the older Blind Witch has a Storybrooke counterpart named Miss Ginger, which is likely a nod to Hansel & Gretel's story of the witch living in a gingerbread house. I can't wrap my head around this one!

I've assumed that the younger blind witch survived burning the oven and was scarred/aged to the woman we see in episode 2. Maybe her magic was making her young and beautiful and when she was burned it wore off. Unless we find out otherwise I assume they're the same person.

i think i have to agree with this point, but we should find out everyones back story sooner or later. unless the young blind witch actually did die, and thus not having a counterpart. however i'm thing they might be the same. not sure

After doing some deeper digging, I've discovered one of the writers for the show (Jane Esponson) answering a tweet about it:
Alexander Brownie @ordinarycollege
@JaneEspenson Was the Blind Witch played by Emma Caulfield meant to be the same one seen disfigured in episode 2, a.k.a. Miss Ginger?
Jane Espenson @JaneEspenson
@ordinarycollege no. 2 blind witches.
@JaneEspenson But her Storybrooke alias is "Miss Ginger" yet it was the other one who had the gingerbread house. Hmm.
Jane Espenson @JaneEspenson
@ordinarycollege maybe sisters maybe inherited house maybe many such houses...
So they are supposed to be two different characters...

Who is this Miss Ginger in Storybrooke? I've never seen this character. I know Ruby spoke to her on the phone when she was with Henry in the Sheriff's office, but if she's been shown in SB, please tell me which episode & I'll watch it again. Thanks

It's in episode 8 but it's only a minor appearance when Sidney was elected to be the new sheriff.
