if one truly watches season one again, without the hype of excitement we had with the new show and how amazing it is. (which is hard for me to do even when watching it like a 3rd time). when we watch with fresh eyes and can look at the details and facial expressions, one can almost feel sorry for Regina at times, when she expresses her true self when no one is around. especially her hands, often it will do to the ring Daniel gave, that is before she used it in the end.

now the problem is as y'all stated she had a "dis-functional" family.
plus as Regina puts it herself:"I've always believed that evil isn't born, it's made." and i truly believe her mother had a hand in that, firstly with Daniel's death, forcing her to marry snow's father and more that we are still to know

Just found this interesting article ....

Regina was not seen on this week's episode, but she will be back. The last episode focused mostly on Emma and her story, present and past. There are new spoilers about Regina though, and she will be getting some more therapy, according to Raphael Sbarge. He said the following, according to Wetpaint Entertainment:

"Clearly he felt that there might be, if he approached her in a sensible and a clear way, a way to get some light in a crack in the door. He's had some success with that in his sessions. She's struggling with not using magic. What’s at stake for her is obviously Henry and her relationship to Henry. What I can say is that what you’ve seen in the doctor’s office — you will see more of it, and there will be more of an opportunity to engage in these conversations."

While Regina was not seen in the last episode, Hook played a big part of the action. The reunion of Hook with Rumplestiltskin was teased on the last episode, and fans are wondering when that will happen on the series. E! Online revealed the following about that event when asked by a fan:

"'We haven't gotten there,' Colin O'Donoghue says of Hook and Rumple's highly anticipated reunion (they were filming episode 10 when we spoke to the Irish actor). As for who would win in a fight when they do come face-to-face again? 'I'm going to say that Hook as the advantage because I play Captain Hook, so I'm not going to give into Rumplestiltskin!' he says with a laugh."

I am liking the way reigns character is developing. What do you say Nix? as a hardcore regina fan. Which of the 3 reginas do you like best?

past regina- who was in love with daniel and before magic
evil queen regina - who made others do her bidding and killed and enslaved as she pleased
current regina - who understands what being a mother to henry is going to take to change her into a person who he wants to be his mother?

I know they are all her and how she has grown and such but is there a favourite regina time of anyones? maybe a not so favourite time? I would say I didnt dig her when she was younger (but then again I never found naiveté an attractive quality in anyone) but I would say I like her as the badass mum who doesnt take s*** from anyone and does every thing to protect henry.

frankly the Real Regina is all of them combined which is the current Regina,
She knows love and believes in happiness tho thru pain she lost that and push her emotions away in then Becoming the Evil Queen thanks to the Help of Cora the Horra and Rumple. and now this Regina who has lost love once more and is trying her best to be there for her son in the way he needs her.

but to watch i quite enjoy Lana Parrilla as all of them as well, she is doing a great job sometimes i find it hard to believe the same actress is playing the same role all the time.

i love all parts of Regina. the Current one is the best for me because in some scenes you can see and her in her voice young Regina and the moments of love for Henry and hope and then as well you can see the Evil Queen in her.

I think she is going to become a tragic heroine. I can almost picture how she ends probably trying to save Henry and how they all gather around her as she is dying alongside a tearful Henry. And I think Snow, Emma and Charmin will forgive her in the end too.

Noooo don't say that i LOVE Regina, no no no. no dying,,

with the Hero part i agree, even the forgiving of Regina but you lost me with the Dying part, injuried maybe but not Dead. Please.

Well...she's got the tragic part down.

I don't think she'll die anytime soon. If she dies, it's going to be at the very end but I think that Emma and co. will forgive her before then.
