I've always wanted to know what happened between Henry and Regina, so I'm excited for the Regina flashbacks!
I vaguely remember Anastasia's story. I think she was a blonde Russian, or something like that?

Well there was a animated feature a while ago that was based on the historical Anastaia.
(Wiki here) But Disney didn't do it.

But she is also the one of Cinderella's step sisters and I'm hoping the take that route. I think it would get too confusing if they started using historical people too.

I thought Disney made that movie, so that's why I thought it could be her. They don't necessarily have to present her as an historical figure, just somebody who lived in FTL...
So maybe they're talking about Cinderella's stepsister, even though I don't really see what they could do with her. They did say she appears as a spoiled rich girl, so I guess it's more likely you're right.
