He's been obsessing over a plan since whenever he started messing with Charming and Snow. Probably longer. I think if Belle had any chance to save him it would've been when they first met. Now that he's closer to his goal he's less likely to give it up.

I think Belle might not be able to change him but she will remain his weakness. I think unlike Regina he is not capable of destroying what he cares about.

Good point and I agree, he's not going to give up his plans for her. I think his plan is to find Bae, but I think he's hoping to keep his power too.

I don't want him to change either, I like my villains multilayered, but still villains, however I was hoping he would be somewhat conflicted, a brief pause maybe?

I wonder if he's going to come clean with Belle and let her know his plans to find his son. I guess it also depends if Emilie de Ravin is able to be on the show more, she's just a guest star right now.

I know I'm going to just sound like a complete Rumbelle fangirl, but I'm not worried aboutthe future of Belle and Rumpel's relationship. This show reminds us time and time again that true love eventually conquers all and that no one is able to run away from their true love. I definitely see a ton of problems for Belle and Rumpel for season 2, but the end result will be a happy ending for them both. I just don't see them being able to live in the same world without constantly looking for each other. So far, the "true love" couples on this show have been inseperable. They always end up finding each other again.

I also think that Belle will help Rumpel find Baelfire. I don't really see her making him choose between the two. That would be ridiculous. Belle would want Rumpel to find his son. It's the manner in which that is achieved is where their main issue lies.

I totally agree w/ the above. In Skin Deep, when he sent Belle away, he had to be bsing. I think he realized that he wanted her to be safe & couldn't risk flying off the handle again. It was obv by how he reacted after she opened up right before she left that she did mean more to him than the power.

I can't see Baelfire coming back tbh.

I actually think Baelfire will show up, but I'm not sure if he will be a kid or all growed up.

I have your fic on my read list. It's getting to be a long list as I've been doing more writing than reading lately. Or more like trying to write.

Pinocchio turned out full-grown, so I'd say he'd be around the same age as that, if they did bring him back.
