It only lasted one season but Meghan Ory was one of the two series regulars on the show who wasn't a vampire. But she fell in love with one. It had the Buffy/Angel type feel to it.
Basic plot was the headmaster taught humans during the day including Meghan's character Sherry. But at night he taught a group of five vampires teaching them how to be more civilized and to not feed/hurt humans. I watched it cause Karen Cliche was in it and was surprised to see Meghan Ory in it. It's become one of my favorite shows now and I wish it had kept going.
